Titon Products Used:

138 MVHR units from Titon’s HRV Q Plus range have been installed in a £16.5m development in the London Borough of Lewisham. Consisting of two and three-bedroom apartments, Phase 1 of the scheme was designed and built by Rydon Homes for Family Mosaic as part of the regeneration of the Heathside and Lethbridge estates. Once completed, the properties are set to achieve Lifetime Homes Standard and meet the Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4.
 

HRV1 Q PlusThe installation of Titon’s HRV Q Plus units consisted of three models: HRV1 Q Plus, HRV1.5 Q Plus and HRV2 Q Plus. The M&E contractors for the project were Essex-based HPEMS and commenting on Titon and the installation, Senior Contracts Manager, Ray Jackson, said: “We were really impressed with the MVHR units from Titon; they were easy to install and commission on site, and support from the technical team has been great. In fact we have been so impressed with the units, we are already looking to use them on future projects.”
 

All Titon HRV Q Plus units have been independently tested by the BRE and are EST Best Practice compliant. Thanks to their discreet but revolutionary designs, the units offer class leading specific fan powers and highly efficient heat exchangers (up to 91% efficient) for enhanced SAP performance via Appendix Q.

HRV1 Q Plus is suitable for properties with a kitchen and up to three additional wet rooms, but is predominantly aimed at applications where space is at a premium. The HRV1.5 Q Plus has been designed for use in small to medium sized properties, while the HRV2 Q Plus is perfect for medium to larger sized dwellings.

The regeneration scheme will provide 1,200 new properties, 446 of which will be affordable homes with the remainder designed for shared ownership and private sale. The estates will also include a park, community centre and play areas.
