Titon is Top of the Class in Energy Efficiency with Maxiglaze - May 2012
Leading ventilation and hardware expert Titon has supplied 326 Maxiglaze energy efficient glazed-in ventilators to Caldervale High School, North Lanarkshire, as part of a refurbishment of the PE department, modern languages block and lecture theatre.
The Maxiglaze RAL 7015 and 7016 energy-efficient glazed-in aluminium ventilators were specified by Cumbernauld-based aluminium window installation specialists, Nortek Aluminium Systems Ltd. Bob Foster, Contracts Manager said: “We have a well-established relationship with Titon and always find their products of a high quality and their service support excellent. The Maxiglaze was the ideal choice for this particular job due to its energy-efficient properties, made to measure sizes and wide variety of colours.”
For use on PVCu, timber or aluminium windows, Titon’s Maxiglaze is an energy efficient glazed-in aluminium ventilator that provides an Equivalent Area (EA) of 12000mm² per metre of extrusion and for the Scottish market a very competitive 21476mm² per metre of extrusion. Optimum performance over length requires fewer vents to be fitted to achieve total requirement. The Maxiglaze is available in made to measure sizes or in bar length and in a variety of colours which ensures greater convenience and ultimate flexibility.
Designed to comply with Building Regulations (Part F) and Scottish Technical Standards, Maxiglaze is suitable for 20, 24 or 28mm glass thicknesses.
Available with a cord or rod control version, Titon’s highly efficient range of glazed-in ventilators are designed to provide a durable and sustainable ventilating option for a wide range of public and private dwellings.
