Vent-Trex from Titon - perfect for refurbishment 11/2007

Titon’s Vent-Trex, the UK’s first overhead combined background and extract ventilator, is ideal for refurbishment projects in the public sector where replacement windows are being fitted and extract ventilation needs to be provided as good practice.

Vent-Trex is unique in that it is located over the head of the window and is easily installed when the windows are being replaced. Therefore local authorities and registered social landlords can make substantial cost savings by utilising this concept, as unlike conventional wall mounted extract fans, Vent-Trex does not create damage to the building fabric when it is fitted.

Vent-Trex has undergone rigorous testing and is CE marked and IP rated to IP24. All relevant electrical standards are met within these tests. It complies with the background and extract ventilation requirements of the Building Regulations. The product has a two-year guarantee.

Tyson Anderson, Sales & Marketing Director of Titon, explains: "Titon’s ventilators are ideal for the public sector, where best practice and best value is of a high priority. Our products are regularly specified by architects, Local Authorities and Housing Associations across the UK and Vent-Trex has proved popular with these specifiers over a number of years."
